Microbial genomics is both the present and the future of infectious disease epidemiology. The more people who learn how to harness this technology, the more lives we can save. 

 

We teach the “why” and “how” of this field to many audiences. We can teach the basics of genomics to epidemiologists, the basics of epidemiology to computational biologists, the latest developments in bioinformatics and microbiology that spur the field forward, and everything in between.
